Trusts

We put the right succession plan and protections in place for the people and organisations you care about.

We have many tools in our private client toolbox to help our clients grow and manage their wealth, but a family trust is unparalleled when it comes to keeping assets safe and productive in the long term, especially across generations.

Trusts serve as valuable tools for safeguarding assets against creditors, ensuring responsible management for beneficiaries, and protecting against unwarranted claims.

People who most often consider setting up a trust either have a lot of assets, and/or complex families – potentially with issues, or they have children or children in care.

A trust can also ensure that you and your loved ones are cared for in the long term, especially when you can no longer manage your assets, and the next generation might not be as financially literate as yourself.

A trust is established and constituted when a settlor transfers certain assets to a trustee, who is to manage those assets on behalf of beneficiaries.

Thereafter, the assets are the property of trust and not the settlor. The trustees must then manage these assets in accordance with the terms of the trust deed and in the best interests of the beneficiaries.

We will identify the most appropriate trust for your situation and ensure that all the trust assets are used appropriately for the relevant beneficiaries based on the terms of the trust.
