Saint Michaels make a will month
It’s happening in March 2025.
One of our partners, Richard, has been supporting Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate through their “make a will” month initiative since 2014.
In that time, make a will month donations have reached an amazing £87,883.00!
We love supporting Saint Michael’s Hospice because they help people and families dealing with terminal illness and bereavement. Serving the local community since welcoming their first inpatient in 1989, the majority of Saint Michael’s work is funded by the community.
Make a will month was launched as a reminder for people to ensure they have a will, and as a fundraising drive for the hospice.
Making a will gives you the opportunity to protect the people and things that matter most to you. The initiative sees participating local solicitors like us donate our legal fees for writing or updating a basic will to Saint Michael’s.
Our wills cost between £250 and £300 for a simple will. We send the donation (minimum of £250) for your will to Saint Michael’s Hospice on your behalf.
March 2025 is make a will month.
This year we’re donating the fees from 10 wills to Saint Michael’s Hospice. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis so book early to avoid disappointment.
Once you have taken care of your family, friends and charities close to your own heart in your will, you might want to consider leaving a gift to Saint Michael’s to ensure future generations have access to their services. That’s because one in three of their patients is cared for thanks to a gift left in a will. Even a gift of 1% of your estate, once you have provided for your loved ones, will help ensure Saint Michael’s Hospice continues to be there for everyone who needs them.
