Calling Bookkeepers / Cashiers
We’re looking for an experienced bookkeeper / cashier to join us full-time.
Our solicitors’ office is seeking an experienced book-keeper/cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and confident working with legal practice bookkeeping requirements.
Hours: 9 – 5 pm
Experience: Previous bookkeeping experience required
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Key Requirements and Qualities:
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Experience using bookkeeping/accounting software
• Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules, or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Based in the heart of Ripon in a Grade II listed building, our thriving high street practice comprises two partners, two associate solicitors and a dedicated legal and administration support team that keeps our work flowing. Our legal practice has origins that can be traced back to the 18th century. Managing partner, Andrew Hutchinson, is the fourth generation of Hutchinson at the firm and has been here for 30-years. Our other partner, Richard Storey, just celebrated his 20th anniversary at H&B. Many of our staff have had long careers with us, and our cashier recently retired after 50-years of service. So we’re obviously doing something right.
We recently upgraded our IT systems, company branding and website, and are launching new marketing and social campaigns.
